Do you know an experienced HR Manager who still enjoys getting their sleeves rolled up and dealing with day to day HR operations?

This well established and succesful manufacturing company is in urgent need of an HR Manager to step in and manage the site HR Team and HR operations for a 6 month maternity cover.

It's a very hands on and operational role in terms of managing and leading ER cases, advising management on HR best practice, walking the job, overseeing recruitment and training, monitoring engagement, handling performance appraisal and management coaching. The HR Manager is also responsible for a small HR team, ensuring a comprehnesive service to the business. Whilst keeping the business running during this 6 months is a priority there is also the oportunity to make your mark in terms of team structure and HR delivery. We know that there is always room for improvement in HR practices and process and it is expected that the interim HR Manager will have the autonomy to implement any neccssary or efficiency driven changes.

A robust and confident personality would be best suited to this opportunity where credibility is key and the ability to balance commercial needs with the people element. You must have a proven track record in a range of HR generalist activities and at least 10 years of HR experince as the ability to hit the ground running is critical.

Full Time, Based in Bath

Very occasional travel in the UK
