Working for a well established local plant & transport company operating a fleet of HGV’s & specialist construction engineering plant and servicing clients UK wide. As a medium sized privately held entity you will be in the sphere of influence and have further career prospects. As a business, they have an expanding asset and client base and are going from strength to strength.

You will like

The Hire desk Co-Ordinator job itself which is responsible for administration of the plant hire desk, supporting the Plant Hire Desk Controller and liaising with existing clients from sectors including, Construction, Heavy Industry, Civil Engineering and Utilities. Specifically: To deliver a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers to ensure that expectations are met or exceeded. To ensure the accurate and timely completion of all hire contract administration in line with Company procedures. To adhere to and promote all health and safety compliance standards to ensure a safe working environment.

You will have

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the transport/construction industry and be able to demonstrate track record within a customer facing environment in the construction or hire industry. Proven track record in developing new business. Specifically: Experience of plant hire or construction industry. Strong planning and organisation skills. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Computer Literate – working knowledge of Microsoft is essential. Must be an effective communicator capable of conveying information accurately, verbally and in written format. You will be capable of working alone and using your initiative; but also enjoy working as part of a team when required.

You will get

The position is Monday – Friday and Saturday mornings, basic hours are 45 hours per week. (Salary negotiable depending on experience, likely c£18K – £23K Neg on experience. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly motivated and progressive company.
