Young, ambitious, well established independent creative agency based in Leicestershire with a broad and loyal client base is on the hunt for a head of new business as part of planned expansions.

They are an agency that focusses creative partnerships with challenger-brand clients, acting as brand custodians and delivering a reputable 'safe-pair-of-hands’ creative ethos across traditional and digital channels.
This is a great chance for an experienced sales executive with the background in a design/marketing agency to really run with a fantastic opportunity. Here you will be given the task of generating and converting new business opportunities for the agency. Understanding and have already sold services in digital and print design, digital marketing, branding, website design and also having the experience of pitching to senior decision makers and putting together successful tenders to win projects/contracts, you will be an ideal contender for this role. This is a brand new role within the business and up until now all new business was done at Director Level.
You will have a hunters attitude rather than a gatherer, sales and marketing will be your passion and driver. We are looking for somebody who is really looking to make their mark on a quirky, caring design agency where you can really make your mark.
The core purpose of the role:
Increase the number of new clients and new client revenue each year
Manage the entire sales process from lead generation through to conversion, meeting with and presenting to senior decision makers (marketing/sales managers, MD’s and CEO’s)
Develop and implement new business strategy for the agency
Deliver best practice and achieve consistently high client satisfaction ratings
Stay on top of new developments in the creative/marketing industry
Maximise networking opportunities and regular use of conferences, events, etc to increase awareness and develop further network of contacts
The successful applicant will be comfortable with presenting to senior decision makers for significant projects and for long-term contracts. Must be able to understand client objectives and be able to align the offering against them. You must understand the commercial procurement process and be able to navigate the agency through the pitch process. You will be comfortable with and understand P&L and basic commercial financial functions.

Due to this being a brand new role, the salary and package is currently negotiable depending on the level of your experience.
