We are currently seeking a confident, customer focussed and commercial General Manager to lead our team in Stockton Heath.
We currently have a portfolio of 16 restaurants nationally, with ambitious plans for expansion, creating plenty of opportunity for career progression for those who seek to continue to grow their skills and position within the company.
Our Stockton Heath restaurant typically caters for a volume of anything from around 40 covers on a quiet weekday lunch service up to around 180 covers per service on a busy evening or weekend. The General Manager has overall responsibility for the performance of the whole restaurant including the back of house and directly manages the front of house team with up to 8 of these working at any one time on a busy weekend service. The General Manager role is one that’s instrumental in achieving the company’s vision-‘great value, delicious cooking in a busy, buzzy atmosphere by a friendly and professional team enjoying themselves. This is a role that’s intense and hands-on and will see you taking responsibility for the running of the bistrot both financially, in terms of customer service and with regard to the overall product from freshly made and cooked dishes to running a scrupulously clean restaurant.
Cost management and meeting financial targets is a primary focus, nurturing a strong and competent team and working directly with the Head Chef in delivering delicious cooking which exceeds customer expectations are a must. You’ll be proven in this area, be confident, engaging and have excellent inter-personal skills and leadership qualities
We require a hard working, enthusiastic, very hands on General Manager, if you have a cool head under pressure, thrive on team work, a proven track record in a premium casual dining background, are ambitious, have a good sense of humour, an eye for detail and truly understand the notion of hospitality then we’d love to hear from you!
