Our clients provide a one stop shop for web design, development to strategy, and entire marketing campaigns.

 

Our clients offer bespoke solutions to common sector-specific needs, primarily for the Safeguarding community. Our clients are specialists in the public sector, health, youth and safeguarding markets but work with businesses from both the public and non-public sector, who are seeking to engage with stakeholders, source new customers and increase sales.

 

YOUR ROLE AS A FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER

 To plan, develop, troubleshoot and test client and internal web development projects delivering excellence, a high level of standards compliance and highest quality in all projects. You will work closely with other developers and designers internally and externally as well as client facing teams, with client communication and a focus on client requirements at the forefront of everything we do. The role is suitable for a multi skilled developer who can work on all aspects of the development lifecycle as part of a team.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE

  • Website development (Full stack)
  • Support colleagues to develop client project specification documents
  • Contribute to project plans to ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Produce technical resource and time estimates to support sales and proposal costing activities
  • Determine and recommend appropriate software architectures and other technical solutions, including new technologies, discussion with clients as appropriate
  • Work with colleagues to implement graphic designs for websites and other digital solutions
  • Liaise and communicate with clients during development
  • Participate in solution testing, taking responsibility for standards
  • Report and discuss project progress with project managers and colleagues
  • Provide client technical support and training
  • Contribute to internal development process improvement thinking and activities
  • Supporting client with daily issues

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 3-5 years (experience minimum)
  • Very strong front-end skills (PHP/ HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / Responsive Design)
  • WordPress Development – Themes, Custom Plugins and system maintenance
  • Friendly, helpful, with a desire to deliver excellent customer service and support
  • Advanced knowledge of responsive and mobile development
  • Experience using custom or existing CSS frameworks (eg. Bootstrap)
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your development skills
  • Good understanding of web security considerations and best practices
  • Pride in shipping well tested, quality code
  • Result driven - achieving the revenue, customer value and engagement targets
