A 5 star international chain hotel, requires an experienced and dynamic Executive Chef to assist with the pre-opening set up of their new hotel in Indonesia. With over 200 rooms and a large food and beverage operation, this hotel will have a modern setting with an authentic Japanese cuisine.
Your strong knowledge and experience with the different styles of Japanese cuisine (Teppanyaki, Sushi, Shabu Shaub, Robatayaki, etc) will be paramount for the success of the pre-opening set-up as well as the whole of the back of house operation, from menu development to recruitment of kitchen management.
You will have experience within either hotels and/or restaurants with Japanese cuisine or similar luxury brands. You will need experience with food hygiene and food safety with the ability to train team members on the different styles of Japanese cuisine.
