Our client, a highly reputable Renewable Energy consultancy with specific emphasis on the Commercial Ground Source Heat Pumps and Gas CHP have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team. 

Our client is a growing energy and water consultancy based in the UK.  They have been operating for over 30 years in the field of hydrology and hydrogeology and have completed many projects for leading blue chip food and drinks companies, energy companies and breweries as well as agricultural and private supply projects.  They are a consultancy who are world leaders in Geothermal heat and power generation as well as having expertise in multi-hundred megawatt hydropower, district heating, light and heavy civils, industry and infrastructure.  Due to continued business growth they are looking to employ an Energy Project Manager to run renewable energy projects in the UK with specific emphasis on Ground Source and Gas CHP. 

Job Overview:

Overall responsibility for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of project delivery. Responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, to quality standards and within budget.

Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Project leadership
  • Concept, feasibility and business case report writing
  • Developing and managing the design and delivery process
  • Managing project P&L
  • Excellent working knowledge of ground source energy, gas CHP and District Heat projects
  • Defining the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for projects, and manage their development and delivery
  • Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional team involved with project delivery
  • Engage and manage suppliers
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Site-specific Health and Safety 

Experience & Skills required:

  • Experience of working in a similar role, preferably involving Ground Source and Gas CHP
  • Strong client liaison skills
  • Strong technical skills with ability to have an input into design
  • Business development skills and proposal writing
  • Mechanical, Electrical, Consultancy or building services experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills 

Remuneration Package includes:

  • Circa £50K Basic
