An exciting Midlands based opportunity has arisen for a Digital Content Manager with at least 3 years’ experience and a strong agency background. 
Are you a Content Specialist with expertise in writing engaging content for multiple target audience groups, in the right tone of voice, across all digital channels? 
Do you love bigger picture thinking and planning as well as being responsible for managing the functional activity?

Overview of Role 
We are currently looking a Digital Content Manager to join our Digital Studio working with a high profile Midlands based client. The successful candidate will be based onsite within our client’s marketing services studio team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving digital team, managing digital content activity for brands within the food and hospitality sector. 

The Digital Content Manager will have proven experience, client relationship skills and will bring a fresh impetus to an already successful studio. This is a functional role with elements of strategy and requires strong digital / social experience.

You will be responsible for delivering the brand(s) digital content programs and overseeing the social media channels ensuring that the conversation is relevant, engaging, always on brand and in the perfect TOV for each target audience (for example one of the target audience groups are football and sports fans) Within this role you will be responsible for 5 main elements which are (1) Digital Projects (2) Email Marketing (3) Content Execution (4) Reporting and Insights and (5) Social Media.

Skills and experience required
§ Experience in (1) Digital Projects (2) Email (3) Content Execution (4) Reporting & Insights and (5) Social § Creative, analytical and pragmatic with proven experience and ability to provide recommendations
§ A specialist in search and content marketing with experience of working on B2C search campaigns
§ Strong experience in digital analytics, preferably with an accreditation in Google Analytics
§ Experience in content syndication and outreach platforms
§ Strong experience of working within a CMS, preferably Adobe AEM solution
§ Content writing skills and ability to write content in the relevant tone of voice for each target audience
§ Experience of writing Football / Sports related content would be an advantage but not essential.

Main Duties / Responsibilities
§ Execution of digital campaigns, through engaging and helpful content across all touchpoints
§ Manage development, planning and production of Social Media Content, Email and Web Content
§ Set clear measures and KPIs for activity to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate impact / ROI
§ Develop strong relationships with platform owners (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google)
§ Drive innovation and test and learn activity
§ Social Media Community Management, social monitoring, listening and publishing
§ Website content updates and SEO optimisation
§ Leadership of high quality content and creation of the day to day digital content workflow
§ Management of the end to end process for cross channel content
§ Content management of existing websites - ensuring a consistent message/style in line with brand.
§ Work with designers and developers to make the necessary changes on site
§ Responsible for CMS (AEM) to ensure that websites are continuously updated, relevant and accurate.
§ Quality assuring the changes are correct and meet web standards and brand guidelines
§ Search engine marketing (including organic search, local search and keyword research)
§ Management of Social Media Crisis escalation
§ Assist in roll-out of new digital projects, ensuring all are planned and joined up with each other
§ Influencer Outreach programs and content seeding through content syndication platforms
§ Delivery of ROI results to the on-site account management team for dashboards and reports.
§ Email marketing (including broadcast, template creation and digital voucher triggered emails)
§ Develop content, improve content performance and maximise usability of published content.
§ Coordinate delivery of seasonal and promotional content working closely with Digital Designers.
§ Design and build content to support SEO, creating a great customer experience across all channels
§ Email Marketing: Create, Test, Target, Trigger, Tracking and Analysis
