Job Description

Our client, based in Fleet, are looking for a Company Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis ASAP !! This is a fabulous opportunity for CIMA qualified, SAP super user who is willing to take ownership in helping the business move forward.

This Company Accountant will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role and be used to working within a small team. If this is you, apply today ……

Job Role:

  • Accounts Payable: handles all payments necessary including foreign currency, ensures all import and exports are compliant with HMRC guidelines
  • Banking: handling foreign currency matters, handles all cash and banking transactions, in charge of sales and purchases using credit card, manages cash reserves and investments
  • Credit & Accounts Receivables: re-evaluates credit limits for customers, maintains SAP software, resolves customer remittance issues
  • IT: Ensures all hardware and software is present and correct as per company policies, ensures daily backups are ran, responsible for SAP systems and any applicable changes and upgrades
  • Insurance: annual insurance renewals, identifies changes in insurable risks, handles insurance claims
  • Inventory: Handles all booking in of imported stock, manages typical cost accounting functions
  • Payroll & HR: processes monthly payroll for all staff, handles all monthly taxation requirements, maintains staff personnel records, stays up to date with current employment laws, administers pension
  • Reporting: all EU sales reports, HMRC reports, any special projects as and when required
  • Taxation: all VAT and corporate tax payments

Preferred Skills:

  • CIMA essential, ACCA desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role
  • Must be SAP super user
  • Organised, multi tasker with exceptional communication skills
  • Must be willing to take ownership in helping the business move forward
  • Senior management experience

 Associated Benefits:

  • 40k – 45k per annum
