Job Description

Commercial Financial Manager – ACA, CIMA 

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits 

Location: Brentwood, Essex 

The Role: 

Exciting opportunity for a commercial and business focussed Chartered Financial Manager to be part of and contribute to the next stage of this market leader’s company growth and success! Reporting into the COO, you will be responsible for running the Finance department and day to day management of the team.  You will also contribute to the delivery of the strategic and operational financial management of the company, ensuring corporate sustainably and compliance with all legal and statutory requirements to meet the company’s growth ambitions. Experienced working within SMEs, you will use your commercial experience and strong work ethic to manage, develop and drive the financial infrastructure of this SME forward to reaching their growth target. 
Key Skills 

You will be educated to degree level with a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA) and experience working in a small to medium sized business, as well as having the 
necessary skills and personality to work with people at all levels of the organisation. 
Proven track record in leading and managing a corporate finance function, producing 
statutory and management accounts and delivering sustainable finance management to the 
organisation 
Managing and running an accounting system 
Production of management accounts 
Liaising with external organisations to improve internal systems (e.g. automated BACS, 
accounts software suppliers, employment law advisors) 
Ability to devise appropriate recording and reporting systems 
Team management experience, with reporting responsibility 
Previous management experience in a similar environment 
Computer literate e.g. Excel, Outlook and accounting packages 
Involvement in running an SME
