Job Description

Our client is an established and expanding provider of Children’s Homes and is seeking a manager for their new home in Bradford.  The EBD home has a maximum of 4 residents who require a compassionate, caring, and patient experienced children’s home manager to oversee the home.  

This is a great opportunity to work with an expanding/growing company to put your personality, skills and experience to work to maintain/develop an enjoyable and stimulating environment for young people to achieve positive outcomes though the quality of care you will ensure they receive though your leadership. 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of care home management (either an established Manager or an ambitious Deputy) with a good track record with OFSTED
  • Believe in providing quality care and positive outcomes for the young people
  • Ability to successfully lead a team 
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples workforce or equivalent 
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards qualification)
  • Ambition and innovative - to help grow the service 
  • A good working knowledge of Children’s Home regulations and the Social Care common inspection framework
  • Be able to demonstrate a knowledge of Reg 44 and Reg 45 reporting
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplined team 
  • Be able to demonstrate auditing, managing budgets and monitoring skills 
  • A full UK driving licence
