Position: Business Planning & Funding – Deputy Manager
Location: Stokenchurch (HP14)
Salary: £32,000 per annum (£45k OTE)
Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 18:00 pm)

An independent franchise finance firm based in Stokenchurch, High Wycombe are recruiting an Assistant Manager and Associate Consultant specialising in business planning and funding.
Joining this 16 strong team, this award-winning business is looking for an Associate Consultant to help with the continued expansion of the Business Planning and Funding team. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who possess an understanding of business financials (possibly from banking, finance or business coaching background) with the aptitude and people skills to work closely with franchisers and franchisees.
This business offers a service that starts at the point where a prospective franchisee is looking to buy a franchise and run right through the life of the franchise until, where appropriate, a re-sale is sought and achieved. You will play an integral role ensuring that your clients receive the best possible advice, you undertake due diligence, assist with business planning and financial forecasts, delivering finance solutions, managing client relationships and the preparation of finance applications.
Your role is office based however from time to time you will be out of the office attending client meetings and attending franchise exhibitions with a view to building industry knowledge and networking.

- Ideally a background (and track record) in banking, finance, funding or business coaching (or similar)
- An understanding of business plans and specifically financial forecasts
- An ability to analyse a set of accounts or financial forecasts for an SME business
- A positive attitude towards delivering excellent customer service
- A real people person. A true relationship builder is key
- A thirst for building a successful career
- Able to develop a strong customer rapport/able to strike up an affinity with customers
- A strong aptitude for business practices and a founding knowledge of the importance of franchise businesses
