An Enterprise Data Storage Solution Manufacturer with 25 years of history and stock market listed, are looking for a Business Development specialist to increase our sales in the fast growing Surveillance market in the UK.
Business Development specialist KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Business Development specialist you must have strong business acumen to develop, lead, and close sales opportunities. Specifically, we are looking for a person that will:
" Identify, develop and close opportunities.
" Maintain existing customers 
" Build a sales pipeline 
" Manage the sales cycle 
" Provide excellent customer support 
" Understand the elements that make up a surveillance solution 
" A highly motivated self-starter who drives to exceed their sales goal each month independently 
" Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
" Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
" Agile learner with strong action orientation and drive for results
" Creative thinking, agility and be able to collaborate with the team
" Familiarity with CRM practices  and excellent knowledge of MS Office 
" Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
" Travel throughout the UK to attend customer meetings, channel meeting and exhibitions relating to surveillance, when required
" Willingness to learn
" Uniqueness of a market - operating in a complex, dynamic and cutting-edge surveillance industry
" Working in a regional organisation with cultural diversity and high complexity both from a business setup and operations perspective due to international scope and multiple channels 
" Exposure to global and local business practices, 
" Dealing with all parts of the market from state-owned to private enterprises
