The Role

Our Business Development Manager will be networking (building long term relationships through meetings, entertaining and hosting at specialist events) in order to network with already established and new contacts to identify potential new business opportunities, which will be referred to the in-house sales team.  Working alongside, and interface with commercial property agents, liaising with businesses direct and specialist referral agencies, networking groups and forums.

Job Description

  • Daily meetings with agents and third parties in order to build on existing and new contacts to maximise your own network of agent professionals

  • Responsibilities for the annual programme of events and entertainment plans

  • Frequent conversations with key referral channels and gathering of qualitative information
  • Introduction of new market leads to support existing market intelligence
  • Based from our HQ in Bracknell, this role will entail some travel (South of Cambridge, London, South East and South West), fully expensed

  • You will work closely with our sales team, feeding the gathered information to them for further qualification and action

  • Using the CRM, weekly reporting and working as an integral part of the BD team as a whole

The Person

  • Degree education

  • Experience in the commercial property sector (commercial agency, serviced offices, chartered surveyors or similar)
  • Knowledge/established relationships within the commercial property sector highly desirable

  • Outstanding personal presentation and excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to quickly establish a rapport and build long term relationships within your network

  • Team player with integrity, initiative, self motivation and commitment
