Business Development Manager – Fire & Security + M&E Maintenance and small works

I am currently recruiting for an M&E contractor with a growing Maintenance and F&S division who are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join an already winning team.

About the Client:

Successful and supportive independent Fire and Security company, fully accredited with an outstanding reputation.

About the Role:

Predominately selling maintenance of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, monitoring services, boiler servicing, emergency lighting servicing.
Sales of both service and maintenance contracts and new Install jobs.
Selling to Commercial/Industrial sectors, SME's, up and down the High Street, L.A, and M&E Consultants etc.
Target: £350k/£400k annual target, evaluate on a quarterly basis.
Part office, part field based.
Typical install values: Small: £10k, Med: £30k, Large: £100k
Typical Service values: Small: £500 to £900, Medium: £2000, Large: Any size
My client can take on jobs of any size just shy of a million.
A lot of business comes through the door so plenty of leads to be had.

About the Candidate:

My client is not looking for someone to set the world on fire, someone who is steady and methodical, can bed down and get on with it.
Someone that can generate business from scratch and use one's own initiative.
Live within a commutable distance from their office in Nottingham.
