My client is a leading, well established apprenticeship and training provider. They are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Advisor to be based at their site in Walsall. There are good long term prospects and security. My client also offers continuous professional development. Ambitious and able candidates will have the potential to grow into management roles.
The successful candidate will possess experience in B2B sales not necessarily within education and training. Working alongside the in-house recruitment team you will assist in matching vacancies from local employers with some of their young learners – apprentices. You will also liaise externally with local employers, learners, school representatives and parents, raising the company profile and generating leads for existing contracts, promoting the companies whole portfolio of training courses and apprenticeships.
You will have a flair for building good relationships with potential new and existing clients. The role would suit someone that has previously worked as a recruitment consultant; field sales; business development manager; business development advisor.
The salary is between £17,000 - £22,000 basic + commission (on average 10% of Gross salary) and 40p mileage allowance. You will be required to use your own vehicle, so should be prepared to insure for business use. Company laptop and mobile phone will be provided, pension scheme after 3 months, 25 days holiday + stats.
