Job Description
We're currently seeking an experienced Block Manager to take over a portfolio of residential estates. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and estates
- Assisting the Head of Property Management to provide a full and professional property services to clients and leaseholders alike
- Ensuring compliance with the Landlord & Tenant Act, specifically with regards to carrying out and managing Section 20 Consultations
- Conducting site visits and carrying out regular inspections of properties to ensure their upkeep
- Liaising with contractors to ensure any required works are completed to the required level within set time frames
- Dealing with leaseholder enquiries and responding via phone, email and in writing
- Scheduling and attending client board meetings, including AGM’s and directors meetings
- Producing annual budgets in line with planned works and previous expenditure
- Arranging regular risk assessments for each property within the portfolio and ensuring necessary works are carried out promptly
Candidate Profile:
- At least 2 years experience in residential block management
- Possesses excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including experience using property management software
- Able to provide outstanding levels of customer service
- Live within a c.40 minute commute to the office
