Job Description

Our client are looking for a full time Baby Room Leader to join their diverse and fun team. It is essential you have experience in leading a baby room, with sound knowledge of children development, especially for those under 2 years old. Alongside an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage. It is also essential to have a minimum equivalent of a level 3 in Childcare.

You will need to be self-motivated, confident in using your initiative and inspirational to lead our client's small baby room. It is essential to have strong knowledge of good safeguarding practice. A relevant 1st Aid certificate and level 2 in food hygiene is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Purpose of Role:

You will be required to interact and actively encourage the development of all the children within the setting, in particular your designated room. You will be a team player whilst maintaining the ability to initiate and self-manage your own tasks. You will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of your team and proactively lead by example at all times. You will at all times maintain the highest possible standard, in order to provide the best possible care and environment for the children, by ensuring full compliance with all the setting's policies and procedures. You will be passionate about maintaining the ethos of our client and their values, always willing to go the 'extra mile' to improve and develop.

The successful applicant will be required to gain an enhanced DBS disclosure.
