Job Description

Our client, one of the leading and largest firms in the Uxbridge area, is looking to recruit an Audit Senior.

The primary role will be to independently perform audit assignments for a wide range of medium to large owner-managed clients such as property companies and wholesale organizations. The vast majority of clients will have turnovers in excess of £6 million. 

Overview of the role for Audit Senior:

  • Plan and perform smaller audits either alone or leading a small team 

  • Obtain background data for audit planning 

  • Prepare and review financial statements 

  • Prepare corporation tax computations 

  • Draft management letters and reports 

  • Ensure time budgets are maintained 

  • Maintain client confidentiality and professional relationships 

  • Supervise and assist junior staff 

  • Liaise with other departments in order to efficiently and effectively complete jobs 

  • Be a team player and actively partake in technical training sessions 


The successful candidate will be: 

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist

  •  A minimum of two years within a multi-partner practice with at least 40% audit exposure 

  • Technically strong with a good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards 

  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills - building strong relationships with clients 

  • An adept team player with acute problem solving skills 

  • Able to work under pressure Looking for long-term career enhancement with a desire to train and undertake new experiences 

  • Competent with Word, Outlook and Excel, with excellent oral and written communication skills 


The ideal candidate will be ambitious, have established experience within auditing and be looking to develop further. This role will be most suited to someone who can rise to a challenge, is delivery focused, has a 'can-do’ attitude and is looking to improve his/her skills and competencies through self-development.
