Job Description

Do you have experience working within anti social behaviour in the housing sector? Are you experienced in collecting witness statements, evidence and attending court? Are you available immediately to complete a fixed term contract until approximately the end of May?

Based on Birmingham Business Park, your salary will be £27,959 per year pro rata / £15.36ph plus 32 days holiday including Bank Holidays pro rata, pension, health insurance, childcare voucher scheme and free car parking.

Your hours of work will be 35 per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

The main duties of the Anti Social Behaviour Co-ordinator will include:
* Providing guidance, coaching, training and advice on all aspects of anti social behaviour to members of the housing team
* Investigating cases, collecting and collating evidence for production at court
* Processing high level anti social behaviour cases, those which require specific interventions and those cases referred into the Neighbourhood Services team by the Estates team
* Attending court on behalf of the organisation as and when appropriate and self representing in cases where lay persons have right of audience
* Procuring, instructing and advising the organisation's legal representatives regarding anti social behaviour cases referred for court action, ensuring value for money
* Advising on, investigating and supporting anti social behaviour cases for partners agencies as instructed
* Liaising with appropriate agencies and relevant partners of issues of crime reduction, prevention and anti social behaviour
* Developing partnerships with the police, local authorities and other social landlords to ensure effective collaboration and partnership working within and across local authority areas and key neighbourhoods
* Ensuring effective resource planning and budget setting, monitoring and reporting against expenditure and identifying and capturing efficiency savings
* Collating and monitoring feedback from customers who have used the ASB service in order to improve and develop the organisation's ASB services
* Co-ordinating safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults at risk where identified within general needs housing stock

The ideal Anti Social Behaviour Co-ordinator will have:
* Previous experience working in a housing association
* Experienced in managing and resolving anti social behaviour
* Previous experience presenting cases at court
