Position: Account Manager
Location: Cambridge (CB2)
Salary: £22,000 - £27,000 per annum (+ Bonus)
Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 am – 17:00 pm)

An impressive independent fashion wholesaler are recruiting an Account Manager to join their fledgling business. From humble beginnings trading from a craft fair in Cambridge in 1997, these guys have developed their own in-house products and now boast relationships with a number of recognised high-street retailers.
These guys specialise in selling to larger outlets. With a full-time product designer in their ranks, this business continually refresh their product ranges from scarf's, bags, accessories and gift items.
Housed in a small office within a converted home of its owners who have created a work environment suited to their business needs, their existing team of five seek to add a sixth member. As Account Manager, you will play an integral role in the business, heading the continued sales growth through the penetration of new markets, but primarily relationship building with existing clients in a bid to achieve longer term objectives.
Due to the of the size of the business, individuals will need to contribute across the board from supporting the sales, forging relationships with clients and attendance at four annual week long trade shows whereby the business will support and accommodate you in a hotel throughout the duration.
Whilst sales experience is vital to your overall success, the ability to relationship build and a knowledge of fashion and gift products is merely desirable. If you are able to marry these interests whilst recognising the core values of an independent business, we would love to hear from you!
Since their inception in 1997, this independent wholesaler design all of their product in-house including (but not limited to) scarf's, bags, accessories and gift items from their home in Cambridgeshire. From small beginnings starting life from a craft market, early evidence suggested the in-house products would flourish!
These guys place huge importance of retaining fresh and seasonal products to match their client needs, boasting relationships with Collier Campbell, RHS, V&A and TK Maxx.
- Sales experience
- Market knowledge within the fashion industry, preferably through personal interests (desirable)
- A solid relationship builder
- Strong telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to socialise and find common ground within a small team of five
