You will establish strong relationships both externally to include suppliers and internally to maintain business and achieve business goals and targets.
You will represent our client in the best possible light at all times.
You will ensure account agreed KPI's are met or exceeded.
You will carry out category reviews to change customer's products or seek product innovation to achieve targets with a high degree of understanding and sympathy to individual customer's needs and requirements.
You will carry out price reviews as scheduled by account with a view to achieving target.
You will provide fully detailed product forecasts to Inventory Department as necessary with a view to achieving KPI’s.
Finally, you will attend and sometimes organise Commercial/Marketing organised events.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior / National Account Manager with extensive knowledge and experience of the QSR and Food to Go sector.
You will be a “foodie”, a confident presenter with good foodservice and retail industry knowledge and the ability to build strong foundations with customers.
You will need to be highly self-motivated person to achieve the goals and targets, able to work efficiently and independently within time constraints and ability to influence others.
The position is home based but you will ideally be living in the” central belt “of the country. e.g. South of Manchester.
Highly developed analytical skills are essential, as are well developed IT/ PC skills (including Excel), and you must be able to interpret data and information in various formats.
You will be numerate, have excellent presentation and communication skills, be able to communicate at all levels, and be decisive, assertive and persuasive.
You will be innovative and demonstrate originality and creativity in solving problems and meeting the needs of the clients and the Food to Go sector.
You will enjoy a high level of autonomy and therefore must be highly self-motivated to achieve agreed goals.
You will have strong negotiating skills and able to manage your own time effectively.
You will have the ability to develop and communicate sound commercial arguments, and have a thorough understanding of the cost drivers and their impact on our client’s operations and their customer.
A full driving licence is a prerequisite as there will be a requirement for travel throughout the country at different times.
The successful candidate will also be required to have the flexibility to work extra hours in line with the business needs.
