Job Description

Our Client is a world class education establishment ranked in the top 16 in the UK of its type and is in the top 1% of its type worldwide. They are a global centre for excellence in research and education.

They are currently seeking a CNC Miller / Turner to be based at their main campus close to the South Coast, Hampshire. The position is permanent.
The role is within our clients Engineering, Design and Manufacturing Centre (EDMC). The successful candidate will help deliver the full range of our clients Manufacturing and Design Engineering capabilities to our client’s students.

Knowledge and Skills:
You will ideally be an accomplished CNC Miller / Turner and will be able to demonstrate your ability to produce precision manufactured components using a wide range of materials and engineering equipment.
You should ideally be conversant with both Conventional and CNC machinery and in particular, mills and lathes.
You will be to qualified to HND/NVQ3/City and Guilds or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
You should have substantial experience which will include embracing change and driving forward continuous improvement.
Basic salary will be in a range of £23,619 - £28,143 per annum depending upon experience.
