Job Description

Our client is an award pub company operating 7 sites in the South East. They are currently seeking a Chef de Partie for their public house located on the South Coast in East Sussex. The position is permanent.
Our client is looking for a strong Chef de Partie who is keen and hard working to join the brigade at this pub / brasserie which is distinctively different. Completely redesigned and refurbished, the heavy beams combine the texture of wood and stone flagged floors with open log fires, comfortable leather sofas and a modern eclectic décor. This creates a warm, relaxing yet vibrant atmosphere to eat and drink.
The open front kitchen is where the menu is selected and prepared and cooked to order with knowledge and passion.
Our client is seeking an ambitious and committed Chef de Partie with a passion for good food who is ready to develop their career in an award winning Pub Group.
Everything is prepared in house using fresh ingredients using local suppliers wherever possible.
As Chef de Partie you will help set the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
This is a very busy working environment, and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, you’ll be part of a team who helps influence effective kitchen controls to achieve good gross profit and stock control as well as driving excellent standards of health and hygiene.
You will need to thrive in a very busy environment and enjoy working as part of a team.
If this sounds interesting and you would like to develop your career within a multi award winning pub group, then please contact us immediately.
Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Chef de Partie ideally with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level or a Demi CDP looking to move up to the next level.

You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential.

Standard working week is 45 hours working 5 shifts a week.
