Our Client is a family owned building and decorating company based in the heart of South West London. The company has built an excellent reputation based on trust, experience, thorough detail, hard work, reliability and efficient communication. Our Client has experienced Project Managers working alongside a workforce of around 25 skilled and friendly tradesmen, ensuring the quality of each project is second to none. They are also proud to be a member of the Federation of Master Builders (FMB), the UK’s largest construction trade association. Our Client is currently seeking a Building Project Manager. The position is permanent. Our client specialises in internal/external decoration work / plumbing / electrics / glazing / joinery / bathroom fitting / roofing. They are looking for a hard-working, well organised and reliable Project Manager, with prior experience of project managing construction and decoration work. This is a demanding role supervising a number of projects on a daily basis with occasional weekend work. Knowledge and Skills: You should be an accomplished Construction / Building Project Manager ideally with exposure to projects relating to internal and external decoration work, plumbing, electrics, glazing, joinery, bathroom fitting and roofing. It is essential you can multitask and manage a team to ensure strict deadlines, budgets and scope are met. Client satisfaction is our clients number 1 priority. You need to have strong technical construction competence to progress jobs astutely. You also need good knowledge of health and safety responsibility and be a team leader who can motivate and guide people, and progress in the right direction. It is essential to have computer skills in the Microsoft Office suit of packages and capability to use customer relationship management database in order to maintain the project documentation that goes with the job. Our clients Project Managers lead by example and work the same hours as staff. You need to be well presented with a car and bike licence to attend site.
