Based in Hampshire, close to the South Coast, they operate seven regional offices and employ over three hundred staff.
 
They are currently seeking a Senior Mitel Telecoms Engineer to be based at our clients technical engineering centre located in West Yorkshire.The position is permanent.
 
Reporting into the Technical Engineering Manager – Solutions you will play a pivotal role within the Telephony Technical Engineering Team and be responsible for installation, MAC work, maintenance and technical support of our clients telephony products and services including Mitel 3300/MCD/MiVoice Business & MiVoice Office and associated applications.
 
There will be a mix of both on-site work and office-based technical support in conjunction with the Engineering team who are predominantly based in our clients technical engineering centre located in West Yorkshire.
 
Specifically you will be attending customer planning and solution design meetings.
You will design, prestaging and configuration of solutions prior to on onsite deployment.
You will carry out on-site installations of Mitel MiVoice Business & MiVoice Office Telephone systems.
You will carry out on-site and remote MAC work on existing customer Mitel solutions.
You will design and carry out the deployment of MiCC-CCM/CSM, MiCollab, MGB, MCS/Phone Manager.
You will install and maintain call recording solutions (Mitel/Xarios/Oak).
You will carry out on-site customer training on above solutions.
You will provide remote management and technical support of customers telephony solutions.
You will carry out digital and SIP trunking configuration and diagnostics and
IP Networking, maintaining customer LANs/WANs.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
 
You will ideally be an accomplished Mitel Telecoms Engineer with up to date Mitel MCA+ Certifications in MCD/MiVoice Business Solutions, plus MCA certification on an additional Mitel Solution (preferred MiCollab/MiVoice Office).
You should be experienced in installing Mitel 3300/MCD/MiVoice Business & MiVoice Office and associated applications.
 
You should have good knowledge of VMware and virutalised environments.
 
You should have extensive knowledge in IP networking, WANs/LANs, VLANs, VPNs & MPLS.
 
Although not essential it is desirable that you are CCNA or equivalent certificated • Mitel MCA – MiCollab/MAS •  Mitel MCA – MiCC-CCM/CSM • Mitel MCA – MiVoice Office • Other Manufacturers accreditations such as Avaya, NEC, Siemens, Panasonic, Samsung, Hosted solutions.
You should be professional and have excellent inter personal, communication and customer facing skills.
 
You should have good organisation skills, a team worker and able to work under pressure.
You should be someone who pays attention to the detail and who can deliver the highest quality of work within tight timescales and therefore able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
You must hold a full UK driving license.
 
Basic salary will be around £28-35k depending upon your experience.
