Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a 3rd Line Engineer to join a dynamic and growing Managed Service Provider, based in Ringwood.

This is a varied role, working closely with the Managing Director to resolve 3rd Line escalations. The 3rd Line Engineer will provide remote desktop support, as well as visiting customer sites and getting involved in projects.

Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
Active Directory, Group Policy
Powershell / Scripting
ESET Anti-virus / RAC / deployment and Management
Server administration - Windows Server 2008,2012,2016
Backup Monitoring and Management / Veeam, Backup Exec
Microsoft 365
Azure AD
Security & Compliance
VMWare / VSphere
Mobile device support
Desktop Support
Excellent networking experience LAN/WAN/Firewalls & VLANs
Good hardware knowledge, PC Builds and installations

Personal Attributes & Experience required for the 3rd Line Engineer position:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an MSP environment
Strong diagnostic mind-set to action and resolve new issues
Attention to detail and accuracy essential

Ability to speak to customers with a customer service focused goal
Confident professional phone manner
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
