Position: 2nd Line Support Analyst
Location: Summertown (OX2)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)

For over 15 years, this award winning IT support company have served both the Oxfordshire and wider markets; supplying IT support, hosting, troubleshooting problems (hardware and software) and anything internet or telecoms related to small to medium sized enterprises.
With these guys it’s all about ‘IT in plain English’, a statement which has served the company well since their inception.
As a team of 14, they are looking to grow with the addition of a 2nd Line Support Analyst. Whilst you need solid experience within a support capacity, ultimately culture is just as important. Personality, humour and character are significant factors and combined with a strong aptitude and love of IT, are what it takes to be successful in this role and company for the foreseeable.
This tight-knit office require an experienced head to contribute to the growth and development of a young support team who can not only offer the relevant support to its customer base, but also guide and mentor more junior staff.
You will need a strong grasp of Active Directory, knowledge of Windows Servers, TCP/IP Networking and experience of call logging.

- Sound 2nd Line Support experience
- Expert knowledge of desktop support
- A strong personality and sense of humour!
- Able to recognise the importance of customer service
- Solid knowledge and understanding of Active Directory
- Knowledge of file sharing and file permissions
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server Rolls and Features (DNS, DHCP, RAS, HyperV etc)
- Experience with Exchange Server
- Experience working with Office 365
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
