Harmas Riley is a knowledge based, specialist food and drink recruitment consultancy, dedicated to the UK food and drink manufacturing sector, covering - Chilled, Ambient, Frozen and Fresh and across all categories; Bakery, Dairy, Value Added, Ingredients, Food to Go, Meat and Fish, Grocery, Confectionery, Desserts and Beverages.   Owner – Managed by Ginnie Riley, we strategically recruit and intelligently search across all disciplines -  Development, Technical, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, HR, General Management/Board appointments; across a range of middle and senior management positions.  Our core business is Permanent placement but over the years we have worked on a number of interim assignments, across all disciplines.   Our Clients range from an entrepreneurial £4m SME Bakery to a $3billion global conglomerate.

Ginnie Riley

Prior to establishing Harmas Riley in 2007, Ginnie accrued seven years executive search experience in the food and drink manufacturing sector, as Senior Consultant with The Oval Partnership, part of MRI Worldwide/Humana Group.  Ginnie head-hunted across all sectors of the UK food and drink industry, middle and senior management roles, across all disciplines, building up significant industry knowledge and an extensive network of contacts, but at the same time trained to world-class recruitment standards.

Before embarking in a career in food recruitment, Ginnie gained thirteen years HR experience in various FMCG, blue chip manufacturing organisations, namely Solway Foods/Northern Foods; Johnson Controls Automotive (a Fortune 200 company) and Whitbread / Allied Domecq. 

Having worked in manufacturing all her life, Ginnie has established an enviable and continually ever-growing network of Food and Drink industry contacts and amassed a wealth of industry knowledge and a real understanding of what 'good recruitment' looks like and what Clients and Candidates really expect in their “go to” recruiter.  Never phased by any project, (sometimes the Plan B resourcing option where others have failed), her relentless and pro-active steely determination, coupled with her intelligent approach to strategic recruitment and her extensive market knowledge, means absolute delivery on every assignment undertaken.
