A Message from TEAM's New Chairman
Dear Members and Suppliers
Its been two weeks and one day and many thanks for your many messages of support, encouragement and welcome.
Simon G’s shoes are difficult to fill - he’s a big man in so many ways and his achievements with TEAM are significant. The footprint of national coverage, the unique job share and split fee service, astonishing deals with key suppliers and the extraordinary culture of sharing ideas and collaboration have created a unique organisation.
My role is to embrace what we already have and enhance this where possible and share this network with an expanded membership in our target community of SME independent agencies.
Lockdown and an extended COVID are forcing us away from face to face to virtual communications. This challenge also brings opportunities. We can now match Members and suppliers who previously have been geographically restricted through online webinars and other virtual platforms and bring new ideas, products and services to a much wider and more focused audience.
It’s still early days, but thanks to many of you for your open communication and ideas. We are formulating some ways to further enhance our support to you all and urge you again to support us with your feedback through our survey. Our goal is to help you achieve your own goals – to support you fully we need to understand what these are, so please respond ASAP.
I look forward to speaking and meeting with you all soon (virtually first and, hopefully, physically in the not too distant future – subject to COVID rules).
I will be launching a weekly Chairman’s forum soon on Zoom, to engage with four members and one supplier to share and discuss ideas and challenges and will rotate this group every week.
