Recruitment International’s March Blog

Let’s start this blog off by saying a massive congratulations to all those shortlisted and the winners of RI’s first Supplier Awards, which took place on 16th February! The event really did celebrate everything that’s great about the suppliers to the recruitment industry and the feedback we’ve received so far has been overwhelming. We also hosted our first marketing mash-up on Thursday 2nd March at the Eight Club in Moorgate. Topics covered included LinkedIn, the new GDPR coming into force in 2018 and buy-in. Looking forward to the month ahead, we have our (first) Workforce Conference coming up on Thursday 28th March. The RI Recruitment Industry Report 2017 (Top 500)

Yes, it really is that time of year again already! We’re giving you a bit of an advance warning that very soon we’ll be sending out the forms needed to submit your company’s updated information for the 2017 edition of the Report. We need YOU to submit your company’s data to help make the Report as accurate as possible. If you do submit your entry details, your company will be provided with a complimentary copy of the published Report.

You don’t know what the Report is? The Recruitment Industry Report is an annual publication RI releases listing the Top 500 recruitment companies by their UK-only turnover. Last year, companies needed to have a turnover of around £5m to be included. Think you might be eligible to enter? Contact David (david@recruitment-international.co.uk).

RI’s pioneering new event, The Workforce Conference, is an amalgamation of all of the best and most relevant content from our Compliance Conference and FD Forums. The morning will feature presentations from HMRC, the Pensions Regulator, Adecco and Cpl. In the afternoon, there will be breakout sessions, which will allow for greater engagement and provide an opportunity for delegates to talk specifically about their own particular challenges.
