Charity Champions – December 2016
Done something amazing for charity this year? We are asking agencies interested in contributing to this feature to pick one charity initiative they have completed this year and answer a set of questions in 350 words or less. Email your answers to Rebecca. The deadline for submissions is Monday 7th November.
Public Sector – What impact will Brexit have? – December 2016
In our December issue, we have a feature on the public sector. We’re asking recruitment companies that operate in the public sector to get involved by sharing their thoughts on the effect Brexit will have on the sector. If you’ve got an opinion you’d like to share, contact Becky.

International development – Do you recruit international development professionals for the charity and not-for-profit sectors or central government? We are interested in hearing from recruitment companies specialising in international development who can talk to us about industry statistics, candidate skills profiles, mitigating risk and the challenges of operating in a sector which can change without warning as political and economic situations do. As the New Year looms up ahead we thought that our January issue would be the perfect time to take a look at that much mused over topic of social media. We will be checking out new social media sites and tools tipped to be good for business, as well as reviewing the usage and evolution of older sites and tools. 8th December – CORPORATE MEMBERS’ EVENT – Leadership not management
This session deals with how to transform a management culture to a leadership style culture. The masterclass will explore how you can inject more practical leadership skills into your business. The session will be run by Robin Rose, who works with The Dale Carnegie organisation.
DATE TBC – Recruitment Industry Supplier Awards
This year, Recruitment International is celebrating ten years of recognising the best of the best in recruitment, but in 2017 they’re not the only ones we want to shout about. For the first time, we will also be recognising leading industry suppliers at our RI Recruitment Industry Supplier Awards.
The awards will be completely independent and a true detection of standards, as it will be the recruitment agencies themselves who are the judges; they will answer questions online and this will determine the winners. To find out more, contact Alex or Teri.
